Goals The aim of this course is to give theoretical and practical knowledge about the production techniques of ornamental plants and to provide the student with the ability to apply these production techniques in ornamental plants.
Course Content Generative and vegetative propagation techniques (cutting, budding, layering, and grafting etc.) how can be put into practice, advantages and disadvantages of them, theoretical and practical demonstration of their use in ornamental plants.
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the production / propagation methods of ornamental plants.
2) Knows the advantages and disadvantages of propagation methods.
3) Decides which propagation technique is the most suitable for the ornamental plant.
4) Knows and ensures the conditions required for production in production facilities or nurseries.
5) Propagates ornamental plants using appropriate propagation methods.
