Goals This main objective of this course is analyzing the effects of international migration on the labour markets and the integration of migrants into labour markets.
Course Content The main topics of this course are theoretical approaches on the effects of international migration on the labour markets; the legal and operational framework on the labour and social rights of the migrants;the main problems of the labour markets integration of migrants; the indicators of labour market integration of migrants; comparative analysis of labour market integration process and the policies of migrants; the phases of labour markets integration of migrants and the risk groups; migrant entrepreneurship; the development dynamics of labour migration to Turkey; international and national legal framework on labour market integration of migrants in Turkey; the administrative process of labour migration in Turkey; the main problems of migrant labour in the labour markets, the analysis of administrative dimension of labour migration
Learning Outcomes 1) To gain conceptional and analytical information and competence on the effects of international migration on the labour markets.
2) To gain information and competence on the main integration problems of migrants into labour markets.
3) To gain information and competence on the basic migrant’s rights based on international and national laws.
4) To gain information and competence on development policies on the labour market integration of migrants
