Goals The aim of the clinical internship course is to reinforce the theoretical knowledge and experience gained by the students during their education period after they start taking clinical courses, to improve their skills and experience in the diagnosis of diseases, to enable them to recognise their responsibilities, relationships, organisation, production process and new technologies in the workplaces where they will do internship. In addition, to help students to reveal their abilities in this field by participating in R&D and projecting studies in the institutions where they do internship, to help them develop their ability to find solutions to the problems of medicine and to improve their perspectives on events, to contribute to the identification of their areas of interest, to gain experience in working life and to enable them to recognise the functioning of institutions.
Course Content Clinical internships within the scope of the course are done at the end of the 6th semester for 30 working days. The student fills out the "Internship Application and Acceptance Form" together with his/her advisor and has it approved by his/her advisor. Then he/she submits the documents to the dean's student affairs unit. Students who do not complete 30 working days of compulsory internship cannot graduate even if they meet other graduation requirements. Students who complete their internships in the summer term submit their internship documents to the Dean's Office. After the evaluations, students' internships are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.
