Goals The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of insurance and risk, and analysis of the basic principles of insurance contract, to inform about the kinds of insurance.
Course Content Risk and insurance terms, insurance process in Turkey and around the world, insurance applications, types and branches of insurance, general provisions, tariffs and orders, calculations of the tariffs, insurance corporations.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learning the terms of risk and insurance, recognizes types of insurance.
2) Describing insurance policies and analyzing them
3) Learning general provisions, the provisions of related tariff and technical issues of compulsory insurance, and get the knowledge of relevant premium calculation
4) Understanding the structures of some special institutions such as arbitral and trust accounts.
5) Learning the basic information about state supervision and monitoring.
6) Understanding the consciousness of professional and social responsibilities
