Goals The main purpose of this course is to get a proper understanding of fundamentals of scientific thinking and basics of philosophy of science and to teach how to think scientifically.
Course Content The content of the course consists of methodologies of scientific traditions (natural and social sciences, and humanities) and basics of the scientific research.
Learning Outcomes 1) Describe different fields of knowledge and able to distinguish basics characteristics of science
2) Grasp scientific method.
3) Analyze scientific research.
4) Recognize the boundary line between science and pseudoscience
