Goals This course focuses on describing and analyzing the ways language, religion, economy, government and other cultural phenomena vary or remain constant, from one place to another and on explaining how humans function spatially.
Course Content Cultural geography is a sub-field within human geography. Cultural geography is the study of cultural products and norms and their variations across and relations to spaces and places.
Learning Outcomes 1) Students know the cultural processes and they can explain spatial differences based on the cultural processes
2) Students can observe the cultural characteristics of the world from the past to today and evaulate the all of the cultural systems by global and local levels
3) Students know the geographical channels of cultural interaction
4) Students know the differences between the popular and folc culture
5) Students know the spatial variability of cultural characteristics
6) Students know the relationships between the globalisation and the popular culture
7) Students can explain the environmental effects of popular culture
