Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with a basic understanding of and appreciation for human population phenomena and problems in an increasingly interdependent world. This will involve an investigation of patterns and trends in fertility, mortality and migration of human populations in different parts of the world and an examination of how they are shaped by economic, political, cultural and environmental conditions and processes.

Learning Outcomes 1) Recognize the elements of national and international change and transformation which may affect their applications in geography.
2) Gain a socio-spatial perspective. It is known that the space of an event may have an impact on that event, or that similar dynamics may be noticed by space.
3) Gains the formation that will bring geographic consciousness (natural and social environmental awareness) for primary and secondary school students.
4) Develops critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills in students with appropriate methods and techniques.
5) Develops effective strategies to ensure community participation and support in workplace and out-of-school applications.
6) It continuously develops professional knowledge and skills.
