Goals .Aims of psychology investigating the causes of behavior to recognize the healthy development of the student himself and his environment aims to contribute positively to communicate.İncreasing the power of positive thinking, for learning to better to be successful and happy, it will support. Scientific method gathers information analyzes the development of psychological problems such as prevention and intervention strategies to help solve the problems of ways.
Course Content The basic concepts with respect to psychological science. Information of method and field of application of psychological science and relationship between these fields. The basic concepts with respect to development issues. Personality, Theories of personality, Personality Assessment tools. The reasons of perceptual selectivity, relationship among attention, habit, perception and incentives. The relationship between memory and association of ideas, memory training. The relationships between characteristics of motivation and types of motivation. The relation of intelligence, feeling and excitement, incentive- excitement. The basic concepts about point of thinking and relationship between types of thinking.Positive thinking, mental attitude, relation of communication and stress managament.Mental health and behavioral disorders ,compliance mechanism. The definition and qualificationof learning and conditions of effective learning.The basic concepts on the subject of social behaviour. İndividual and gorup relationships-leadership. Attitudes and Social behaviour, youth and identity formation.
Learning Outcomes 1) . S/he explains informations with regard to behaviours and uses them at the experimental and practical field.
2) S/he evaluates indivualds in terms of physical, psychological and socio-cultural, affects behaviours and under control.
3) S/he comprehends the basics concept at development process, makes person to know oneself and the others. .
4) . S/he explains the main factors which affects personality and interactions of person and environment.
5) S/he teaches and practices information of being healthy and health psychology .
6) S/ he uses knowledges relating to reasons of behaviours for essential psychomotor skills.
7) S/ he uses scientific problem solving methods in his/ her life.
8) .S/ he contacts between memory and mental process, knows conditions of effective learning and learns lifelong.
9) S/ he bases on basic characteristics of individuals as communication skills and point of view to achieve their aims.
10) . S/ he analyzes relationships among individual, family and social groups and knows importance of mental health.
11) S/ he examines behaviours like social influence and leadership, follows progress and changes, makes required behavioral changes.
12) S/ he plans, implements and evaluates searches relating to behaviour through using critical-creative thinking skills.
