Goals The purpose of the course is to gain the conceptual point of view which help resolve the problems related to gender-based social structure; theoretical approaches related to development of gender; widespread and deep-seated problems faced by women.
Course Content Gender, Historical development of gender-based roles and gender discrimination, Gender-based role expectation, Feminist interventions.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain social gender.
2) Explain the gender discrimination faced by women.
3) Analyzes the historical roots and consequences of gender inequality.
4) Defines the problem areas of women in terms of social work.
5) Analyzes the perception of violence against women according to societies.
