Goals It is aimed to gain information about the forensic social work practice areas, the roles and functions of forensic social worker, crime theories, juvenile justice system, interviewing techniques with children, forensic social work interventions for women and families, restorative justice system and probation practices.
Course Content The content has been determined under such headings historical development of forensic social work, role and functions of the forensic social worker , the forensic social work and criminal theories, Forensic social work practices in the juvenile justice system, Forensic interview techniques for children, forensic social work interventions for women and the families, forensic social work interventions for the groups with health problems in the judicial system, forensic social work interventions for the probation services, forensic social work for the punishment institutions, social work relation with restorative justice I and II, work for victims in forensic social work.
