Goals This course enables the student to increase their knowledge and skills related to patient and employee safety within the scope of health quality and to develop their awareness on this issue.
Course Content Basic Concepts in Patient and Employee Safety, Policies for Patient and Employee Safety, Ehical and Legal Aspect Patient and Employee Safety, İncident Notificiations and Analysis Techniques, Authentication in Patient Safety, Control and Prevention of İnfections, Safe Drug Applications, Falls and İnjuries, Pressure Ulcers and Prevention, Safety in Surgıcal Applications, Safe Transfusion Applications, Physical Restriction, Effective Communication, Risk and Protection Arising from Working Environment.
