Goals This course aims to provide information about operating mechanism of participant operating systems, its components, interaction with hardware, and the operation of basic hardware components used in computer.
Course Content The hardware components that make up the computer system and the segments that make up the operating system will be examined.
Learning Outcomes 1) You can define the operating system.
2) You can explain purpose and function of task management.
3) Describe the operating principle of Central Processing Unit.
4) You can explain purpose and the function of memory management.
5) be able to explain the working principle of main memory.
6) You can explain purpose and the function of the input-output system.
7) be able to explain the working principle and the components of the motherboard.
8) Describe the operating principle of graphic cards.
9) You can explain purpose and the function of file management.
10) Describe the operating principle of storage units.
11) You will be able to implement the installation and basic configuration of an operating system.
12) You will be able to perform the installation steps of a desktop computer.
