Goals At the end of this course, the student will be able to analyse general economic trends and explain the Science of Economics: Basic Concepts, Objectives of Economics, Problem of famine and need, Supply, demand, and prices: market mechanism, Flexibility in supply and demand, Theories of ordinal and cardinal benefit: consumer balance, Producer balance, Markets of complete and incomplete competition, Factor markets
Course Content At the end of this course, the student will be able to analyse general economic trends and explain the Science of Economics: Basic Concepts, Objectives of Economics, Problem of famine and need, Supply, demand, and prices: market mechanism, Flexibility in supply and demand, Theories of ordinal and cardinal benefit: consumer balance, Producer balance, Markets of complete and incomplete competition, Factor markets
