Goals The purpose of this course is to provide the students explain the definitions and concepts related to biostatistics and also to provide the ability of data collection, summarization and analysis in basic level by theirselves completely and accurately
Course Content This course includes general concept of data and its properties, data acquisition methods, measurement and measurement methods. scale concept and scale types, data summarization methods, analysis methods and statistical concepts related to outcomes and interpretations.
Learning Outcomes 1) Define data concept and properties.
2) Have knowledge about measurement methods and scales and distinguish them.
3) Distinguish and effectively use data collection and summarization methods.
4) Distinguishes data analysis methods and uses them effectively.
5) Student produces accurate results from the analyzed data.
6) Publish and share results in appropriate ways.
