Goals The aim of this course is to teach students Russian sentence types, simple and compound sentences, the main and secondary components of the sentences and the types of subordinate clauses in a detailed fashion.
Course Content In this course Russian syntactical rules, simple sentences, compound sentances, main components, secondary components, subordinate clauses and other syntactic structures and units are presented through theoretical explanation and practical exercises
Learning Outcomes 1) Acquire basic theoretical and practical skills related to Russian Language Syntax.
2) Students reflect what they learn in their scientific studies.
3) Have knowledge of preparing written and visual presentatitons about Russian language and literature.
4) To have the theoretical and practical knowledge about the history, culture, economy, political backgrounds of Russian literature.
5) Translating from Russian to Turkish and from Turkish to Russian.
6) Doing research and academic publications in the field of literature and linguistics.
