Goals To teach the theoretical and practical aspects of the local government systems
Course Content This course includes the main theories and conceptions of local government, different local government systems, the realtions between central government and local goverments, local governments and democracy, self-government, the european charter of local self governments and urban policy.
Learning Outcomes 1) Formulate the basics of Political Science and Public Administration from theoretical, historical and actual aspects.
2) Use theoretical, historical and current data of Political and Social Science, Management Science, Urban and Environmental Sciences, Law, Science, Comparative Politics, and Gender in workspace.
3) Students use main and secondary sources on Political Science and Public Administration.
