Goals The purpose of the lecture is to give basic information about the national and international organization of the sports, and explaining the conflicts arising from lex Sportiva, i.e disciplinary rules, and contracts.
Course Content In this lecture, 4 issues are explained. The first section consists of the structure and legal aspect of the sports. The second section relates to sports federations. In the third section, the structure and organs of the Turkish Football Federation are examined. The last section deals with international aspects of sports and Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
Learning Outcomes 1) Lists the problems of sports law
2) Explains the organization of sports in Turkey
3) Solves the disputes arising from sports law.
