Goals To give knowledge about important parasitic zoonoses, infection route, control methods.
Course Content Ameobiosis. Balantidiosis. Giardiosis. Leishmaniasis; Visceral, Cutaneous, Mukocutaneous. Amerika Trypanosomiosis’i (Chagas Hastalığı). Afrika Trypanosomiosis’i. Toxoplasmosis. Sarcocystis,Encephalitozoo, Malaria, Babesiasis, Sestod Zoonozlar (Diphylobothriosis, Dipylidiosis, Sparganosis). Echinococcosis. Hymenolepis diminuta, Hymenolepis nana, Raillietina sp. Taeniosis ve Cystycercosis. Ancylostomosis, Angiostrongylosis, Anisakiosis, Ascariosis, Capillariosis, Dioctophymosis, Dirofilariosis, Dracunculosis, Flariosis, Gnathostomosis. Trichinosis, Thelaziosis, Trichostrongylosis, Trichuriosis, Kıl Kurdu enfeksiyonları. Visceral Larva Migrans, Cutaneous Larva Migrans, Zoonotic Onchocerciosis, Strongyloidosis. Dicrocoeliosis, Fascioliosis, Paramphistomiosis. Heterophyosis, Opisthorchiosis, Paragonimiosis, Schisthosomiosis. Artropodiasis
Learning Outcomes 1) Zoonotic parasites, developmental periods and basic morphological characteristics are known.
2) Knows how zoonotic parasites spread to humans.
3) Basic knowledge about the pathogenesis and clinical findings of zoonotic parasitic diseases is prevalent.
4) Has adequate knowledge about prevention and control programs of zoonotic parasitic diseases.
5) Knows the factors affecting the spread of zoonotic diseases.
