Goals The aim of the digital design course is to provide a comprehensive examination of digital systems. Students will have basic knowledge of the fundamentals and applications of numerical systems.
Course Content Introduction, binary numbers, conversion of different bases, bool algebra, simplification of logic functions, realization of functions with NAND-NOR circuits, combinational circuits, adders, encoders, decoders, data selectors, sequential circuits, flip-flops, registers, counters, memory and programmable logic
Learning Outcomes 1) Be familiar with digital systems
2) Be able to analyze and design basic digital systems
3) Examining logic gates and building circuits with these logic gates
