Goals To provide knowledge about mental health and diseases and to develop appropriate nursing approaches.
Course Content "Mental health (protection and development), mental illnesses, epidemiology and etiology in mental illnesses, mental health nursing, ethical and legal situations in mental health nursing. "
Learning Outcomes 1) Describes the roles of mental health nurse in first, second and third-level health care services
2) Uses the concepts of mental health care, fundamental knowledge and nursing care in care interventions.
3) Distinguishing and comparing the state of well-being in terms of mental health and the deterioration in mental health.
4) Prevents pathogens causes mental health disorder in individuals, family and community with bio-psycho-social factors relations
5) Explains the ethical and legal issues affecting mental health services
