Goals Learning of analytical scale chromatographic techniques that used in forensic science.
Course Content Chromatograpy based analysis techniques that used in forensic science. Classification of separation methods, An introduction to separation methods, extraction methods and applications, sample preparation techniques.classification of chromatographic methods, paper chromatography and applications, thin layer chromatography applications, affinity chromatography and applications, ion exchange chromatography and applications, gas chromatography and applications, high performance liquid chromatography and applications.
Learning Outcomes 1) Classifies chromatographic analysis methods and compares them with each other.
2) Recognises the components of the chromatography device and explains their properties.
3) Interpret the scheme and working principle of the chromatography device.
4) Selects methods for quantitative and qualitative analyses.
