Goals This lecture covers the understanding of the toxicity of chemicals at the molecular level.
Course Content In this lecture, students are given the interaction mechanism of toxic chemicals with macromolecules. The lecture contains chemical mutagens, chemical carcinogens, DNA repair, xenobiotic metabolism, genetic differences in metabolic enzymes, genetic susceptibility, toxicogenetics, toxicological consequences of metabolic genes differences and application of specific toxic chemical groups of the molecular mechanism.
