Goals Having information and capability about chronological evolution of basics of modern computer and communicaiton technologies. Creating awareness about managing, storing, changing information which is an important part of informatiion age. Having information and capability about effective using of communication technologies and e-applications.
Course Content History of Computer, Basic concepts of Information Technologies, Hardware and software concepts, Computer Configuration/Performance comparison, Managing and using of Operating System Software, Computer network types, Web Browser, Content Search on web (Google), Presentation Concepts
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the basic concepts of information and communication technologies.
2) Defines the basic concepts of computer.
3) Explains the computer system and how it works.
4) Manages the computer using the Windows operating system.
5) Searches for information on a required topic by using the internet
6) Uses objects by using word processing software.
7) Uses the basic features of a spreadsheet program and formats the cell structure
8) Prepares a presentation with graphics and effects by using a presentation program.
