Goals The aim of this lesson is to understand the process of formation and development of the hadith in terms of history and methods.
Course Content The course focuses on two main topics. 1. History of Hadith: The formation and development stages of the first two centuries of Hadith. 2. Hadith Methodology: Classical methods and terms developed in the history of Hadith.
Learning Outcomes 1) Comprehend the process of formation and development of Hadith's reports
2) Comprehend the main issues of the history and methodology of hadith.
3) Explain the oral and written narration of the hadith together with their reasons and their results.
4) Discusses the credibility of the hadith material and evaluates it
5) Evaluate the technical terms related to the hadiths and comprehends their definitions, differences, historical developments and uses.
6) Analyzes the problems of traditional hadith method and its daily reflections.
7) Reads, understands, and evaluates the original books of Hadith method from Arabic, the original language.
