Goals	To have knowledge about the definitions made by some researchers and to learn the properties that should be found in the work of art. To understand Islam's view of art and aesthetics. To know the hadiths used as evidence in favor of and against Islam in the context of Islam and to learn that there are different views and practices on this subject. Having knowledge about Islam's ancient civilizations, cities, historical monuments and archaeological view. To recognize the character and nature of Islamic art. To learn the factors affecting the development of Islamic art. Being informed about the general characteristics and characteristics of these periods from the period of the Prophet, learning the leading architectural works of Hülefâi Râshidîn, Umayyads, Andalusian Umayyads, Gazeliler, Karahanlilar, Great Seljuks, Anatolian Seljuks, Emirates and Ottoman period art and architecture.
Course Content	Description of art. Architecture's recipe and varieties. Depict in Islam. Character and nature of Islamic art. Examples from early Islamic architecture. Examples from the Umayyads, Abbasids, Karahanis, Gaznels, Great Seljuks, Anatolian Seljuks, Emirates and Ottoman period architecture. In Islam, arts such as miniature, tezhib, hat, ebru and tile.
Learning Outcomes	1) Defines art and recalls importance. 2) It exemplifies the view about the issue of describing Islam. 3) He recognizes the character and nature of Islamic art. 4) It summarizes the Masjid Nabawi, the first important religious architectural example in Islamic history, along with the plan and building elements. 5) Exemplifies the general character of the Abbasid period architecture and the Umayyad period architecture 6) It exemplifies the Seljuk mosques and medreses. 7) Exemplifies architecture of Principalities period 8) Illustrates the general character of the Ottoman architecture. 9) It recognizes traditional Turkish handicrafts.
