Goals It is expected that the students will be able to learn the basic concepts and theoretical framework of environmental science and develop solutions for current or future environmental problems.
Course Content This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the relationship between human activities and the natural environment. The course is designed to deepen the theoretical knowledge in the subjects of human and environmental interaction.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the relationship between human and environment in the context of the basic principles of environmental sciences and geography.
2) Explain the change and its consequences in the natural and cultural environment due to human activities.
3) Explains the environmental problems of the global scale arising from human activities.
4) Gain the ability to look at environmental issues from a geographical point of view.
5) Uses geographical knowledge, techniques and approaches in homeworks and projects to be done in the course, analyzes and synthesizes them.
