Goals This course aims at introducing and teaching students, main concepts, problems and application areas of the politics reporting which is regarded as a genuine area of news production in media organizations. In the course, the general mechanism s of politics in Turkey will be told and after that the methods and tools for reporting the news from these mechanisms will be evaluated. Students will do implementations of news gathering and writing abouy yhe issues that are including in politics reporting throughout the course.

3) Comprehends the main discussions about politics reporting
4) Comhrehends the processes of news production in politics reporting
5) Learns the fundamental ethical discussions about the area
6) Distinguish the objectives of organizations (public / private / NGO), finance and market conditions, structures and processes, media strategies, public relations and advertising approaches and priorities.
