Goals There is no religion in history, nor is there any religion without mysticism. Mystical direction is the manifestation of the human nature. Our aim is to examine the region in which we live and the historical process in the nearby geography and the ongoing activity of the socio-cultural area.
Course Content The similarities between mysticism and sufism (Islamic mysticism), differences / Sources of Islamic mysticism and the issue of foreign influence / Sufism in close geography and contemporary Western society / Mystical institutions that continue their activity in Anatolia today.
Learning Outcomes 1) Comprehend the mystical orientation, such as religion, is also a part of human nature.
2) Evaluate the role of the sufi institutes in the political and cultural field in our near geography and in the lands we live in.
3) Analyzes mystical subject saway from unrealistic evaluations.
4) Be able to present solution offers based on evidences and researches for the questions he/ she is asked in the field and the matter he/ she faces
5) He recognizes the historical processes, traditions and doctrines of the sects that maintain their effectiveness in today's society.
