Goals To ensure that the texts of different periods and different periods written in the Ottoman Turkish alphabet are read correctly and that the terms related to these are understood and that the students who graduate will be able to benefit from the sources written in Ottoman Turkish in their studies and studies.
Course Content To teach the religious literary texts written in different periods of Ottoman Turkic and to grasp the language characteristics of the period in which these texts were written. The transfer of different period features of Ottoman Turkish to students through examples of poems or texts selected from works written in various periods.
Learning Outcomes 1) Read Ottoman texts.
2) He can read and understand the texts written in Ottoman Turkic and writings of poetry and poetry.
3) It can distinguish language and style characteristics that change little by centuries.
4) Knows the phonetic, morphological and syntactic properties of Ottoman Turkic.
