Goals Reading and understanding old texts written in different writing types. These may be archival documents, as well as writing works and different types of inscriptions.
Course Content Information about Ottoman diplomacy, Knowledge about Aklâm-ı sitte, Historical texts, Nesih texts, Rik'a texts, Ta texts, Divanî texts
Learning Outcomes 1) It's known the sources related to the reading of Turkish historical text written in Arabic letters.
2) Turkish historical texts written in Arabic letters are recognized
3) Historical texts are recognized
4) Paleography-epigraphy texts of various current topics are Investigated.
5) Paleography and areas where epigraphy is used are discussed
6) Turkish historical texts written in Arabic letters are solved
