Goals To know the sources of Ottoman history, to be informed about basic political events, to know Ottoman culture and civilization, to have knowledge about religious and ethnic groups of Ottoman society
Course Content In the last quarter of the 13th century and in the beginning of the 14th century, political, social and economic situation of the world and Anatolia; the origin of the Ottoman dynasty and the establishment process of the Ottoman Beylik; Ottoman conquest and first settlement centers in Rumeli and Anatolia, Ottoman as a world state, Pause Period, Improvement studies and the destruction of the state and the administrative, economic, socio-cultural structure of the Ottoman State.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learns Ottoman History sources and literature
2) Knows the basic political events of the Ottoman History.
3) Knows the Ottoman conquest politics.
4) Evaluates the basic developments in the cultural and civilization areas of the Ottoman period.
5) Discusses important events and events in Ottoman History.
6) Analyzes the statues of the religious and ethnic groups in Ottoman history, relations with the state and each other.
7) Explores Ottoman history at the seminar level.
8) Associates the Ottoman historical area coverage with other areas.
