Goals The overall goal of this course is to make students comprehend the qualities and principles of teaching as a profession, the qualities of the school and the classroom, the types of teaching and the qualities of effective teachers, the alternative perspectives in education; the social, psychological, philosophical and historical origins of education as well as the general qualities of the Turkish education system.
Course Content By the end of this course, the students will be able to comment on: The qualities and principles of teaching as a profession Types of teaching and the qualities of effective teachers The alternative perpectives in education The social, psychological, philosophical and historical origins of education The general qualities of the Turkish education system
