Goals This course aims to teach the basic concepts of developmental psychology, to clarify the relationship between development and religious education, and to discuss the theories related to physical, cognitive, moral, language, personality development within the framework of religious education.
Course Content It is composed of the basic concepts related to Developmental Psychology and the theories related to physical, cognitive, moral, language, personality development.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the concepts of development, maturation, growth, readiness, critical period in development.
2) Physical development discusses the importance of religious education.
3) Relates moral development with religious education.
4) Recognizes theories of Physical, Language, Cognitive, Personality, Moral and Religious Development.
5) Examines the importance of religious development theories in terms of religious education.
6) Explains Research Models in Developmental Psychology.
