Goals To comprehend the cultural basins of Islam; the scientists who grow up in these basins; scientific institutions; the quality of science in these institutions; books, urbanization in cities; standstills or breaks that resulted in political events; geographical features affect the minds of the scientists; interaction between culture basins.
Course Content The process of transition to the domination of Muslims; the construction process of newly established cities; the geographical location of cities and their political, social and economic status; the religious, sectarian and ethnic status of residents of the city; architecture of cities; places used for science; scientists in cities; the religious and positive sciences that stand out in cities; science tradition of cities
Learning Outcomes 1) Lists the Islamic cultural geographies.
2) Learns the geographical location of Islamic cities.
3) Evaluates the development process of the sciences in Islamic geography.
4) Analyzes the interaction between the geographies where Muslims live.
5) Realizes the effects of geographical features on stoning and thinking
