Ankara University State Conservatory Choir Program has been designed and opened to train chorists at undergraduate level to prepare them to be able to sing with professional choirs, work at educational intitutes and/or continue graduate studies upon completion of their degree.

The Choir Department aims to educate professional choir singers who are also able to work at educational institutions. It focuses on voice and acting techniques and knowledge, skills and competency in the field of music.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Use good musical literature from all periods of music history to acquire the basic ideas of the art of choral singing; Adopt the fundamental concepts of good tone production; Practice vocal exercises; Develop intonation, rhythm, style, interpretation and performance aspects; Perform his or her part in concert with the others with good tone, accurately and with feeling.
