About Program
Anthropology Department is one of the nineteen departments at Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography. In the program, which has been continuing its education since 1935, there are 10 lecturers, 6 research assistants and 4 research assistants assigned with Article 35. There are two laboratories in the department that are used in applied courses. The program tries to describe the diversity of people in time and space, as well as similarities and differences with social and cultural relations. Based on this idea, it is taught that people should be equidistant to all differences and similarities when considering all biological and cultural aspects. Regardless of the sub-discipline of the anthropology program, it is aimed to provide students with a global perspective rather than being self-centered.
