It has a knowledge of historical poetry, theatrical works, novels and prose from 1500 to the present day and their historical, social, social, economical, political, philosophical, scientific and literary developments. To cultivate qualified individuals who will be creative, critical thinkers and public interest, and will serve as academicians, language and culture experts in the field of Sanskrit and Hindi languages and literatures.
Goals
Nowadays India is rapidly advancing towards becoming a world giant, it is important to educate young minds who can recognize and understand this country. The aim of the Department of Anthropology of Hindology is to not only give 4 year undergraduate education but also to be able to provide graduate and doctoral degree education for young academicians who want to specialize in various branches.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Graduates are able to evaluate indian literary/written genre; Define all characteristics of Indian literature; Evaluate and discuss historical, scientific, cultural, sociological and economic events of Indian literature and compare with similar examples of world literature.
