In firts two years in Latin Language and Literature, Latin Language is theached begining from alphabet. In addition to language, Programme contains history and literature of the Romans. In last two years Latin texts from the most important writers and poets, are read. 

The purpose of this programme is to teach Latin and Ancient Greek languages in order to bring together undergraduate students with classical writers and their works. In addition to this this programme aims students to analyse Roman civilization and literature. Attending the lessons of other progmames such as Linguistics, Ancient History, Italian Language and Literature, Modern Greek Language and Literature, the students also develop their point of wiev to The Calssics.

Idetify Latin novels, poetry, short stories and other prose genres; define historical, social, economic, political, philosophical, scientific and literary developments underlying Latin Language and Litrature. Explain main features of latin literary texts. Analyze and evaluate texts. Describe history of Latin literature and its distinctive literary, formal and stylistic feature.
