About Program
The Department of Dairy Technology, located within the Faculty of Agriculture, provides 4-year (8 semesters) undergraduate education and also carries out research in the fields of dairy science, engineering, and dairy technology.
Goals
The aim of the department is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills on the production of milk and dairy products in accordance with national and international legislation Students who complete the Department of Dairy Technology's training program will be adequately prepared both theoretically and practically in the areas of milk chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry, milk and dairy products technology and quality control, milk microbiology and biotechnology, as well as the establishment and management of dairy facilities. Through industrial scientific research, it seeks to advance dairy science and trains engineers.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Having sufficient knowledge and skills to analyze and provide solutions to problems in the field of dairy science and engineering, dairy product production technology, milk microbiology and biotechnology, quality control of milk and its products, establishment and organization of dairy facilities and dairy industry, and to contribute to R&D.
