Graduate School Of Health Scıences; Forensic Psychology
Master Programme with Thesis; the students having graduated from at least Psychology bachelor’s degree in
departments of Faculty of Language History and Geography and Faculty of Science
& Arts are accepted.
Goals
Forensic Psychology Master Programme with Thesis, is an
applied field consisting of a combination of psychology
and law. Educational activities are continued to provide
psychological services to the parts and support to protect their rights in
legal processes, be able to benefit from their psychological knowledge in
criminal cases and train educated personnal to be able to do forensic psychologic
assessment. Educational staff includes who continue their academic careers
professionally, selected from different disciplines and the most experienced
training staff who worked in the forensic sciences.
Summary of Program Outcomes
· Having theoretical knowledge and competences
related to forensic psychology, Being able to develop knowledge about forensic
psychology based on master degree competencies, Being able to produce new researches for our
country by following the latest developments in the field of forensic
psychology in the world, Accessing the tasks ve competencies in the
fields of forensic psychology and
cooperate the processess with benefiting from their psychological knowledge, Being able to evaluate the knowledge and skills
getting from forensic psychology with a critical approach, Being able to transfer written, oral and visual current
developments and own researches with supporting qualitative and quantitative
datas to in the groups of their own fields and outside the field, Being able to solve problems related to forensic
psychology with using research methods, Being able to transfer forensic psychology and related
researches academic and professional settings and communicate
with colleagues in domestic
and abroad.
