About Program
The main research activities of the Biochemistry (Veterinary) PhD Program covers the topic; mineral deficiency / excess of the related diseases, cell chemistry, cancer metabolism, metabolic diseases. The title of courses offered at PhD Program at the department are metabolic diseases, bone metabolism, DNA techniques in clinical and laboratory diagnosis, membrane transport systems, clinical enzymology, carbohydrates and determination methods, protein metabolism and protein assays, lipid metabolism and a urine analysis
Goals
The purpose of the Biochemistry (Veterinary) PhD program; basic biochemistry (graduate level), general laboratory safety and information about laboratory working rules, molecular biology and genetics, clinical biochemistry, biochemical methods, cell chemistry, cellular level of metabolic disorders, the program also provides the information on how to convert articles into the project creation and project results.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Students who graduate from the program will learn general principles of biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, basic laboratory techniques, molecular biyology techniques, metabolic diseases, interpretation of biochemical tests, metabolic relationship between tissues and organs. The program also provides the information about interpret the results of scientific research, project management skills, ability to publish multidisciplinary project datas.
