About Program
It's an open program for veterinarians, physicians, pharmacist and biologists who want to have fundemental knowledge about Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in order to make the academic level graduate education.
Goals
To train specialist scientists in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology who are responsible to people, animal, enviroment and society and understands its place in social devolopment of the profession and itself, who gain professional competence and ethical responsibility, who sens continious improvement as a way of life, who adopt scientific thinking, who guard public interest in effective treatment and prevention of animal health (only for veterinarians ) and thereby protecting the public health competencies , who think critically and creatively.
Summary of Program Outcomes
Have a knowledge in such topics like sources of drugs and poisons, their effects in animals, their mechanism of action. Knows about analizing methods of drugs and poisons from different matrices. Can prepare basic drug formulations in labarotory. Can work as a specialist in public and private instutions ralated departments to his/her field, and consulting. Can organize scientific projects or organize social responsibility projects for the protection of human, animal and enviromental health, can take an active part in such projects.
