In this program, information about the basic rules of taxonomy, plant morphology, plant anatomy, Flora of Turkey, herbarium tecniques, detailed plant chemistry, plant authentification, ethnobotany, advanced analysis methods, literature survey, conducting original researches and produce scientific papers in accordance with ethical values is relayed via the theoretical and applied courses.

Aim of this program is to raise scholars competent enough to work in all fields of application, to follow the latest developments, to compose independent studies and projects related to “medicinal plants”.

She/He understands well the interdisciplinary interaction and co-operation that is associated with the field of medicinal plants. She/He reaches to the specific results by using complex information and the knowledge requiring analysis, synthesis and evaluation
