About Program
The French Language and Literature master's program enables students to conduct more in-depth research based on the information they have acquired about the History of France, the History of French Literature, and writers and poets. French Literature made an important contributions to the history of literature with writers such as Montaigne, Rabelais, Molière, Racine, Descartes, Pascal, Rousseau, Voltaire, Diderot, Victor Hugo, Stendhal, Balzac, Zola, Baudelaire, Camus, Sartre, Beckett, Ionesco, Todorov, Duras, Maalouf. In this respect, this program aims to conduct research on the language, culture and literature of France and helps us to compete with the contemporary world by contributing to the promotion of this richness of France in our country.
Goals
In the master program of the French Language and Literature department, the students learn processes and authors in different periods of French literature which are examined for their contribution in this process.It is also the main objective to evaluate and understand its place in world literature and culture of French literature.
