The establishment of Hungarology is the same as the establishment of the Faculty of Language, History and Geography. The name of this field was Hungarology Insttitute.  The aim of Hungarology Insttitute was to bring innovations to Turkish scientists, especially to in other fields, including history, Turkish language and literature. Today, Hungarology provides an information to the students the first modern Hungarian language, culture, language history, literature and Turkish-Hungarian relationships as a Hungarology independent science through  academic experts in their fields .  Also Hungarology gives the Turkish works on Turcology,  puts forward studies about Turkish and Hungarian relationships. Besides all this,  Hungarology educates qualified people thinking creatively and critically in this field.

A student has an extensive knowladge about Hungarian grammer, fonetic, extensive knowladge about vocabulary, Hungarian literature, the method of academical studies, Turcology studies in Hungary
