The programme of Economics aims to provide equipment about the discipline of Economics at the doctorate level. For this purpose the education and research of economic policy, international economics, economic growth and development are taught. Education language is Turkish. 

The Doctorate programme in Economics aims to provide graduate students with thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and instruments as well as creative, critical and analytical thinking skills necessary to comprehend the significance of Economics in social and political developments in Turkey and in the world. It is also customized to equip them with further skills which may be required for their private or public sector careers.

Explain theoretical frameworks and functioning mechanisms of economic models. State the development of economic thought's place and importance in the evolution of modern thought. Describe the economical developments and changes in Turkey and in the World. Explains economic informations presented in numerical, verbal and graphical forms.
