Goals
This program aims at educating the students in the way of having skills of analyzing social relations, institutions of education, law, politics and family which determine those relations and economic-social-cultural structures and processes, groups, classes and organizations where those relations are accomodated. In line with this objective, the program is designed to bring an interdisciplinary approach including a coherence of subject/structure and theory/practice, informed by both quantitative and qualitative techniques, at micro and macro levels, with sensitivity to spatial context, illuminated by a critical perspective particularly towards local and international public questions, sensitive to civil society, any sort of discrimination and innovative and creative. The framework of this program aims at contributing to enhance levels of knowledge, skills and proficiency of the students from various disciplines in a systematic way.
Summary of Program Outcomes
KNOWLEDGE PP1: It contributes to enhance students’ levels of theoretical and methodological knowledge gained at bachelor’s degree from various disciplines. PP2: It contributes students to define interlinkages between theoretical/methodological knowledge, human relations and social problems. PP3: Students learn how to critically assess the knowledge they attain. PP4: Students learn how to conduct an interdisciplinary study. PP5: Students learn how to research differences and similarities between different societies and cultures. PP6: It contributes students from different disciplines to improve themselves. SKILLS PP1: Students learn to analyze a problem in line with theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired in this program and aims at offering solutions and policies. PP2: Students learn how to propound innovative perspectives in relevance to current issues and problems at local, regional, national and global level. PP3: Students learn to conduct an interdisciplinary research by defining social realities and interlinkages between them. PP4: Students proposes a term project with the guide of an advisor. PROFICIENCY PP1: Students acquires the opportunity to learn how a scientific research is conducted and reported by virtue of numerous papers and term project. PP2: Students learn to obey principles of scientific ethics.
