Goals

The aims of the doctoral program in History of Islamic Sects are to educate qualified researchers who can produce original knowledge, can make researches in national and international areas, can contribute to the field by way of analysis and synthesis, can share knowledge produced with scholarly peers.

Summary of Program Outcomes

A researcher graduated from the program, supposed to get into more depth in his spiecialized field topics by an original reasoning and a research of contemporary and advanced knowledge, for the use and the development of aforementioned advanced speculative knowledge, a graduate student of doctoral degree is expected to be familiarised with the national and international literature of the field as well as having a comphrehensive knowledge of concepts and the problems. Additionally, a graduate of the field, is supposed to be able to make use of contemporary researchs and knowledge concerning his field, read primary sources of his specialized topic and have a comprehensive skill of using scientific language sufficent for  publishing or making use of books, articles and so on at a national and an international level.
