About Program
Japanese Language and Literature Ph.D. Program follows a training program that aims to give knowledge and research skills beyond expertise, on the subjects of Japanese language, culture, philosophy, literature and history. Not only Japan and Japanese studies, but also comparative studies constitute the scope of the program. The program enables to specialize in a specific subject and generate new ideas on the subject.
Goals
The purpose of the program is to train researchers and academicians who are well-informed, have critical thinking skills, enable to make comprehensive research and propound original studies on the subjects of Japanese language, culture, philosophy, literature and history. Besides, it aims to train individuals who will contribute the mutual relations by introducing the social values of the two countries in cooperation with various institutions and organizations.
