Japanese Language and Literature Master’s Program follows a training program that aims to give advanced knowledge and research skills on the subjects of Japanese language, culture, philosophy, literature and history after graduation from Japanese Language and Literature Department. The program is based on acquiring and improving skills to access to all the works and resources related to the field and synthesize them.   

The purpose of this program is to train individuals who have knowledge, enable to make researches and have critical thinking skills about Japanese language, culture, philosophy, literature and history. Besides, it aims to train individuals who will contribute to the development of relations of both countries.

Students who graduate from the program get information about Japan and Japanese studies and gain in-depth specialised knowledge, analyse, synthesis and evaluation skills in any subject of study fields.
